At our school, student voice is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that when students are empowered to share their ideas, take initiative, and help shape their learning environment, everyone benefits. That’s why we’re proud to have two dynamic and hard-working student-led groups in our school – the Nature Group and the Student Council.
Two representatives from each class are democratically elected at the beginning of each school year.
The Nature Group meets fortnightly to explore ways to make our school more environmentally friendly. Their efforts have included planting, litter picking, student surveys, and more. They’re currently working towards achieving a prestigious Green Flag Award, showing their commitment to sustainability and meaningful change.
The Student Council also meets fortnightly, providing a space for students to raise issues, share ideas, and work collaboratively on solutions. They help shape school life by organising events, leading fundraising efforts, and making the school a better place for everyone.
Both groups reflect the power of student leadership and the difference it can make in our community.
