Our Committee

Welcome from the Chair of the Parent Staff Association

Dear Parents, Guardians and School Community,

Welcome! On behalf of the Parent Staff Association (PSA), I’d like to extend a very warm greeting to all families, both new and returning. The PSA plays a vital role in our school community, and I’m proud to introduce who we are and what we do.

The PSA is a voluntary organisation made up of parents, guardians, and school staff who work together to support and enrich the school experience for all our children. We aim to strengthen the connection between home and school, creating a sense of community and collaboration that benefits everyone.

The PSA organises a wide range of events and initiatives throughout the year—both to raise funds and to build community spirit. These include the Samhain, Winter and Summer events, organising winter merchandise, school merchandise and school photos, a Staff appreciation lunch, a Bingo night and a Pub Quiz! The money raised goes directly back into the school, funding equipment, resources, and activities that enhance the educational experience and wellbeing of our pupils.

Being part of the PSA is a great way to get involved in school life, meet other families, and make a meaningful contribution to your child’s education. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your involvement—big or small—can make a real difference.

This is a significant year in the school’s history as we move into the new school building. This is a very exciting – and busy – time for everyone. We warmly invite all parents and guardians to take part in the PSA in whatever way suits you best. Attend an event, volunteer at an event, or simply share your ideas—we value every voice.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to a fun, productive, and successful year together!

Warm regards,
Gordon Cummins
